The Foundation for Coloring Away Pain is a not-for-profit organization.  We rely heavily on donations to off set the printing cost of the coloring books. Your donation will ensure ongoing research, development, production and distribution of topic specific coloring books to displaced children facing devastating and life changing events.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recently devastating tornadoes ripped through Kansas, Alabama and Missouri devastating many communities and uprooting lives. Thousands of children affected, many loosing everything! The Foundation for Coloring Away Pain has been responding to the emotional needs of the children in the hopes to give them a voice through coloring and drawing.

 

As the days slip by, the holidays seem to be approaching faster and faster. In an attempt to help make the holidays a little brighter, FCAP is launching a Christmas in July campaign designed to help make the holidays "Merry and Brighter" for the children/teens affected by these devastating storms.

Starting July 25th, FCAP will be collecting art related items to send to the children in KS, AL and MO for the holidays.

Please consider donating the following unwrapped items:

Boxes of crayons
Colored Markers
Colored Pencils
Pencils
Coloring Books
Sketch Pads
Paint by number sets
Posters children can color
Sidewalk Chalk
Construction paper
Any items related to art that can be used to color, paint, sketch, etc...

 

Our goal is to collect 10,000 items. In the beginning,

generous family, friends and strangers donated 6,000

coloring books and as many boxes of crayons in 6 weeks!

We can do this but we need your help!

 

If you own a business, work at a business, attend a church, or frequent an establishment and would like to see them involved in this project, please message me for a flyer. Our hope is to get as many collection boxes in establishments as possible.

Items will be collected throughout the campaign which will run July 25th through November 27th. Delivery of items will begin the first week of December. Help us give these children a Christmas/holiday they will always remember!
